Multi-County CCW License (Range) 8 Hour


This instructor led, classroom and range based, course is designed to provide students with the knowledge required to receive, or renew, a Concealed Carry Weapon (CCW) license from your Sheriff's Department.  Our training is certified in the California based counties of Amador, El Dorado, Placer, Sacramento, and Yolo.  *We are working to add Butte, Calaveras, Nevada, San Joaquin, and San Mateo in the coming months.  General firearms topics covered will include; personal and public safety precautions, related legal matters, and basic pistol operations. You will learn how to prevent, avoid, and respond to situations requiring the use of force, we'll cover the legal aspects of concealed carry and the use of deadly force, and we'll discuss the storage, handling, and use of firearms and shooting fundamentals. Additional topics of focus include; self-defense firearm basics, violent encounters and their aftermath, gear and gadgets, and basic & advanced skills.  All students will be required to pass a safe firearms handling and County specified course of fire in order to receive a training certificate.

Course Length:  4 hours (Amador, El Dorado, and Placer County Residents) 8 hours (Sacramento and Yolo County Residents)

Cost:  For new applicants the cost for this day has been included in your registration payment for your 16 hour or 8 hour CCW course.  For renewals we'll invoice you for $125 to cover your 4 hour range use and course tuition fees.

*Students are responsible for providing their own ammunition (150 training rounds + 50 rounds per firearm listed on your license application).
