This instructor led, classroom based, mini class will prepare students to recognize that someone may be experiencing a medical emergency, and explains how to conduct a patient and scene assessment. Beyond the performance of a primary assessment, which will cover scene safety and initial observations, we will also review secondary assessments using a methodical approach to identify additional injuries and significant trauma the patient may have suffered. This is part one of a four part series.
